options conversions and takeovers

Anyone with a lot more years in the market than me care to comment on options and takeover. Is it generally better to have options converted by holders prior to takeover?

Just can't help but think that if the market undervalues Beverley 4 Mile too much, we'll see Heathgate move in with an aggressive offer. Informing Alliance the JORC would be out late 2006 was the best thing it could have done to effectuate a devaluation in the stock. And there is certainly no rush on Heathgate's behalf to bring the JORC out in any hurry because further panic selling could occur.

Sellers should have eyes wide open because we are in merger and acquisition mode and much better to takeover before proper market values come to rest. I've topped up the super fund. Good luck!
