Eventful couple of weeks since last options update with conversions keepin' the dream alive.
MNS veering off into surprise battery plant adventure '
disappointing' to those expecting concrete near term off-take news.Mine funding remains up in the air.
240ktpa sales to support BFS economics no closer to stacking up.
So just how realistic is A$2Billion+ dream of Townsville plant (pop.199k)?
Will it ever see the light of day?
Can the '
dream big and dare to fail' approach work for Magnis?
Or has Bill Moss swapped the millionaires factory for the dream factory?
BEI Consortium light on costings or timelines at this early stage of battery mega-project.
But 5+ years for factory design, funding, permitting, construction etc. not unrealistic for a dream of this magnitude. Many hope advisory panel members Prof. Whittingham (76), Dr Bez (74) and Bill Moss (63 -
Mind Over Body) stick with the dream over long haul ahead.
So many more questions:
What prompted this leap of imagination?
Why is Magnis taking on the might of billion dollar battery giants Panasonic, Samsung, LG Chem and Mitsubishi?
Did lack of RoW off-take success 3 years on from initial
Sinoma MOU prompt Magnis to become their own customer?
Could a dream on this scale make Magnis a household name?
Meanwhile, on this planet, only 23 trading days remain with av. of @3.25M conversions/day needed in final month. Company quarterly gave example of 75% conversion leaving @ $A5M COH by Q2 end...
