Imo, the cost is the purchase of the options plus the 3.5c conversion fee and any brokerage on purchase minus the sale of the head price.... And it's 12months from when they (not when you sent the funds ) converted not purchased the options for any cgt discount
All imho ask your tax dude or ato.
