extension and re issue are different in terms of ASX guidlines and what is a possible outcome

An extension ...adjustment of expiry time on existing options ESIO may not be possible.

A re issue to existing option holders of ESIO is achieved on the basis that the 2014 options expire worthless .. then on a vote by shareholders requiring 51% the new options with a new code eg ESIO/N are re issued only to existing option holders of the expired Jan 2014 ESIO.

Option only holders of ESIO would be precluded from voting,only can vote for the resolution if you have heads.

Holders with heads only and no ESIO will not be issued any options.

Hopefully shareholders will not need the resolution as IMO the chances of ALDP and the imminent funding by Monash will provide a successful outcome to have the options in the money.
