options expiry thursday, page-41

jd, i think you are right about options expiring at the close. can't find anything that says that specifically but if the third thursday is the last trading day for the old options then it stands to reason that the final price is the closing price. Futs expiry is different I think.. I think the final price for that is the open price? Or is that options on futures? Confuddled and befused..
