    I had considered if expansion of the mortgage business outside Australia was a possibility, however, discounted that on the basis that YBR would (IMHO) establish their planned new business structure here first before considering any expansion outside Australia.

    Macquarie Bank itself has a loan portfolio of around $12B - would Mac Bank want to offload that?
