Yes, but please take caution as there might be some time (days) prior to you having exercised the option and being able to sell the ordinary share - depending on your platform/broker and company issue.

I occasionally see opportunities where options lag the heads. If you believe there is a strong chance the heads will increase in price, or the options will catch up, often trading the option is simpler and instant.

Holding the option of course, offers a low initial buy price/derisked entry for later.

I always set a stop on option because of how quick they can move.
