This seems to me a smart way to preserve capital ( spending is well controlled) as well as an easy way to add to the coffers when options exercised .

I would also assume that whoever took options were happy to do so in lieu of cash for services .
Thus again assuming they expect the options to be well in the money .

My reading of the Appendix 3B is that it's actually that this sophisticated investor has taken out a total of 1.25 million shares. The first Appendix 3B was for 250,000 and they must have since negotiated with Invex in the past week to increase it up to 1.25m.

My suspicion is that this is less likely to be this Mr. Duthy chap, but rather a sophisticated investor in the form of an estalished Institutional Investor.

If it is, it's a big tick and a good bet that the SP will be much further advanced in two years.
