It appears every option exercised requires the issue of one new share at 9c and that requires a significant administrative burden on Lynas including the issuance of an ASX statement notifying of the adjustment to shares on issue.
Me sees a way aggrieved Lynas shareholders are going to exercise one option at a time out of the money to bury it with compliance costs. Hope they thought this through a bit better than the rest of their operation. It never ends the way this company finds new ways to bleed money!
