The underwriters will want to keep the SP at a premium to the raise price as it will be an instant profit for X% of holdings once the shares are issued, FOMO for short-term traders looking to make the easy profit and a solid discount to justify accumulation for medium-long term investors knowing that news is expected in the coming months.
