    I think you are incorrect MK2.It is the contract date that applies here when you purchased them.If you purchase two separate parcels over a period of time you use your contract dates.,for CGT purposes.It is like buying/selling properties you use your contract date , not settlement date for CGT calculations.I have never heard of your conversion RE-SET terms before.
