hey nut, nobody would gain out of the options not being exercised as they are not underwritten, only gain is less dilution, but the largest option holders will more then likely exercise as they have put decent money in & as they are just in the money, its more worth it for them to exercise rather then not, smaller option holders would be watching over the week before exercising to see how the sp goes as no doubt the sp is looking extremely weak atm, but as we know that can change quick on the back of positive news.. Im sure the company wouldnt mind to have them mostly exercised but but as you said they would have to release news very shortly..
