Option holders are in more trouble than the holders of fully paid. However they offer a discount buying price for those prepared to hold for some time or perhaps do some relative value trading. The problem is that they take up to a month before a fully paid share is issued which means that they have to be held until the end of the month before they can be resold. The value of any leverage has evaporated as time has passed and the SP of EDE has crashed.
Option holders must now decide which way they will go. Easy for those that hold both but there will be a loss. The strategy should be to minimise that loss. To hold and not convert means the option lapses and there will be a total loss.
