interesting, I must admit I dont know too much about writing options but it sounds like a good way to take some extra profit from your long term shares, i read a book a few years ago by Chris Temby "trading stock options and warrants" and he goes into a complete strategy for making regular income that involves writing naked and buying long term, had plenty of examples with lots of figures to mull over and its written for the ASX with Australian shares.
My trading style is slightly different as i dont always have access to a computer so most of my trades are short term.
