Selling of oppies dried up quite a few days ago. Would be very few who would sell oppies now, decisions would have already been made. Arbitrage always happens close to expiry. Anywhere around 1c is normal, was very surprised when we were getting 2.5/3c discount. If you want stock now and you have a longer term view then yes it still does make sense to buy the oppies over the heads, although there is not alot on offer if you are wanting a decent line.
