SPI Commentary (Yesterday) ABN Amro

Another good showing from the SPI yesterday on the back of a weaker US marekt. The SPI closed at a new record, up 10pts or 0.17% to 5727. After opening lower at 5686 the SPI hit an intraday low at 5681 before rallying to a high of 5722 just before close. Close was at 5717 on volume of 12,093

SPI now trading at 5761 in overnight trade, up 44pts. Look for more strength in the SPI today and new record highs on the back of a good session in the US and stronger commodities markets overnight. The previous resistance levels have now become support levels with blue sky on th eupside and 5700 now looking like the support level.
