Something I need to consider though is always having funds tied up, so taking part in capital raisings is not always an option. I know I can sell a portion of my holdings to take up the cheaper shares, but that will result in missing out on the 12 month CGT discount.

As far as excercising your options kimquangn the share registry generally sends out a form to do so close to expiry, but if you want to excersise them sooner you have to request a form or payment instructions from the registry.
