The only thing a 1 for 5 share consolidation for a small-cap exploration company will do is reduce shareholder value by an equivalent amount. Traders/investors are used to paying the lower price and the consolidated share price soon drifts/plunges back to its' share price pre-consolidation.
Go and have a look at other small-caps that have been silly enough to do the same thing.
