Your posts are always valid and I welcome them. However you do seem to miss the main thing about speculative stocks. They are all risky for any number of reasons ranging from a lack of infrastructure to difficulty in processing the ore, to bloody minded bureaucrats in third world countries. The lure of spec stocks is the possibility of doubling, tripling or quadrupling your stake in a short period which is typically anything from three to seven years. Many of them have huge potential (e.g. MEL, AVB, PEK) but they won't give you the return you hope for overnight. So many posters on this forum describe themselves as Long Term when in fact they want instant gratification. It rarely happens like that.
Personally I think AVB is a stock with huge potential. It's EV is certainly greater than the oft quoted 23c and IMHO could well hit 50c or more in 18 months. If this is ramping, so be it. Anyway good luck with your portfolio.
