SLE I agree that they should have allowed more time for the mail - lack of forethought perhaps; or could they be hoping many people won't bother to sign up anyway (ie less future diltion if the shares ever move considerably).

I also thought it a bit odd that they didn't just issue the new options to everyone; however, they have had to produce a Prospectus and therefore I would suggest that there is a legal obligation on people to sign up for the options. You have to remember that the previous ones have simply expired - they are DEAD & GONE. Hence the new ones are just that, NEW and need to be taken up rather than just accepted
