There's another way of looking at it. We get coverage (at $2) for about 20% of the shares we currently hold.
I intend to wait to wait till the Au price has peaked then sell 20% of my WGX. If it continues to push up. I know I exercise the option at $2. If not I can buy back the WGX at the price it fall to. That is the true beauty of a hedge the similar effect lost on the person who opined the hedge was $30/ oz in deficit.
