The implied chagrin would tend to indicate a concern that it may already have peaked.
As for Nostradamus, apart from his quatrains (prophecies), he was a healer, well ahead of his time, possessing immense emotional and conventional intelligence. I would be unfit to undo his sandals.
Where I can emulate him is not expressing views that would attract the interest of the inquisition. Perhaps I can "tap-dance" around that one. (I don't use emoji's).
