The value of an option is based on 4 paramaters, strike price , time to expiry, current price of the underlying share and volatility. To work out volatility we only have a limited history of WGX from say 5 Dec 2016 but it in turn will be heavily influenced by Au price volatility. We haven't got them yet so I'll do some calcs and try and figure out what it means ( allowing myself a chance to buy more if an arb. opportunity exits).
From past history I perceive 'punters' are prepared to may quite a bit more than what oppies are worth.
