you are right there is no apparant value in buying the options rather than the heads,,..but instead of buying for example 100,000 heads at $43k ,you could buy 180,000 options for the same $43k and in one years time if the sp is $1 dollar your heads are worth $100k .but after tipping in an extra $36k( in 12 months time)on your options, you then have $180k which minus your $36k is an extra $44k you have made for the same outlay today.i have options for that same reason..
