I guess in the case of FNTO people are happy to pay a time premium of 3c for a 20c option when the heads are just 13.5c because they view tremendous upside between now and November (when the 20c options expire).
If you read the company announcement from yesterday they outlined their plans for the next two years, in which they stated they are in the middle of a continious 2 year drilling campaign covering a multiple of very exciting deposits, any one of which could send the share price well and truely above the exercise price by november
