Like yourself I have had successes and miserable failures. I am lucky that I have time to watch the market quite a bit. Trading options needs more attention than ordinary shares as moves in heads are amplified and the volume is generally always less. If you are unsure it is best to not jump in too quick but watch the options as well as the heads if you are interested in a particular share. I often have side by side windows where one window shows the heads and the other the options. It is worth getting to know options as the trading can be rewarding. But always realise the risk.
