The options have a four year life, any time in that period you can convert them to fully paid shares which rank equally with the existing shares. To convert them you must pay to the company the exercise price of 1 cent per option...so if the share price is 10 cents when you convert the options for a cent you then have a fully paid ordinary share.
Remember the option price will always trail the share price by the exercise price, in this case by 1 cent. So if the share price is 10 cents the option price should be around 9 cents. You can trade the options as they are, they will be listed as SYGO, you never have to convert them unless you want to...but if you don't, at the end of the 4 year period, they expire worthless.
