Telstra has signed a memorandum of understanding with the NBN to "negotiate a significant contract for Telstra to support the NBN network build in areas covered by Telstra's HFC footprint".
A similar contract is also planned for those HFC cable areas covered by Optus.
I think both contracts are to be finalised in Feb. 2016.
Given that BSA is the current Optus contractor they would seem well placed to be awarded this work one would think?
Whilst the size of the Optus network is not as large as Telstra it would still be a significant contract for BSA in my opinion.
