25years ago approx .... anz and a gym business joined forces to offer credit for a gym membership - i joined - in a year i never used the facilities ....then gym went bust ( cannot remember why ) ... .. asic forced anz to repay all memberships their money because if credit via anz was not offered then members would not have been involved with a gym ... ... i received more money back than i expected - was HAPPY ... .... ... the way this opes story sounds - maybe anz will be forced to cover the losses of opes clients .... .... .... perhaps ...goodluck
