Hi ANZ had to bail E Trade out I feel that ANZ owed a Duty of Care to the shareholders on whose behalf that they held stock whilst lending to Opes Prime . This was also Mcquaries banks responsiblity as having a duty of care I will be seeing a class action solicitor on monday and ask what our alternatives are . ANZ should not be selling any shares that do not have outstanding Margin Calls on them . I do understand that any stocks that I hold with some form of lending can come on the market to be sold because another margin borrower on the same stock and maybe a larger holding borrowed on same and have an outstanding margin call to be satisfied will be sold on market. This should have happened quite awhile ago when the large trader in Sydney was buying stock in CGF and as they rose was increasing his exposure This is where the Duty of Care comes back to the banks as lenders. Bookies at a race track cover their books by outlaying the risk with other bookies DYOR Towie
