    Mike R,

The rig already arrived onsite, at SNE-3, on Sunday morning (around 10 am AEST, subtract 11 hrs for UTC time, so Sat nite local time).

Athena's status changed to 'drilling' on MTrf yesterday so they must have done the necessary startup checks. The 2 support vessels, Bourbon Topaz & B/Front have since joined the rig.

Very early days from 'Exploitation' as the JV r still appraising.

Post 1P-2P (DoC, ie) they need to lodge a Plan of development (PoD) with the local Ministry to commence any further Dev drilling.

The JV can opt to combine future Development (or exploitation) drilling program with other Exploration targets after the 3Dseis processing is completed.

Last reported depth in November for the SNE-3 tophole was 1750m. So its a no-brainer what will follow.

Well is located 3 kms SE of SNE-1 & they should intersect the 480 sand which was gas-bearing at SNE-1 & dips south into the oil column.

    a) So this 480 sand needs 2b drilled, cored & logged for its potential 'net' oilpay thickness.

    b) Besides, there's the 490 wispy sands which were flowtested at ~1k bopd. Again will b interesting to see if these continue to b oil bearing. Results of any 'net oil pay' should add to their volumetrics outside the core area of the field delineated by SNE-1 & SNE-2 wells.

    c) The 520a, b,c blocky sands possibly dip away from SNE-1 so not sure if its entirely or partially within the water contact. Needs to b drilled out for future water injectors downdip & any possible 'net oil pay'.

    d) The 540 sands were water wet at SNE-1, still need to b logged for the sake of offset well correlations betwn 3 drilled wells (south to north orientation).

By my estimates, they should drill down to the next casing point & then commence coring operations from 2470m or thereabouts.

    a) SNE-1 reservoir runs from 2478 to 2681m (203m total). 19m gas net pay, 30m oil net pay.

    b) SNE-2 recovered a core of 216m. Recovery was 100% so that's good. Not sure abt the 'net' pay.

    c) SNE-3 - n/a

Safe drilling as always. Nothing new to add.
