It happens every day, across a number of stocks, the 1 share sale to engineer the closing price.
If you were an individual you could be prosecuted for market manipulation........but because it is an automated trading system, where the individual is being manipulated, it can be executed without consequence.
As the share price chart reflects, the rally to the 'trigger line' on 02/06 was immediately rejected........the price action thereafter has breached all the 'conventional' support lines/levels.
The upcoming report will have to be something completely out of left field for the share price to be crunched lower. Just my take.
