notty_investor - youhave invested in a good stock, I believe. But your strategy is potentially disastrous. You must not / should not place all your investments into one stock. While your experience in diversification was obviously negative for you, this doesn't mean diversification won't work for you in the future.

I really support BAL - have so from the beginning. But also have stakes in many other companies. While I hope it doesn't happen and I don't think it will, there could be a contamination scare, a plant breakdown, a supply chain hiccup, a product provider change of allegiance or any other number of possible scenarios that could see BAL share price decimated.

Diversification is the investor's moat!
