Does anyone know of a cheap online brroker which allows the placing of orders in excess of 10% from last trade? Comsec and BellOnline both try to claim that orderly market rules forbid such an order being placed but this is not true from my discussions with ASX (dyor). We all have seen orders being placed in excess of 10% away so obviously someone out there has this ability. Also on low priced speccies sometimes there is no other available trade option!! But they still refuse to place the order.

Anyone know a broker which will allow market participants to decide on price rather than some really STUPID "computer says no" response?

Appreciate any responses as this really infuriates me at times, specially when they claim market rules which is just not true according to ASX but is in fact a discretionary call by the brokers ... DYOR
