first things first, start at the gutz of the problem, go to your employer and find out what they classified as your OTE, or the base rate.....note the $3000 does not seem right, since it is 9% of salary and wages
but it may not be complete...your employer must pay the super monthly if a large employer, or quarterly, by the 28th day after the month or quarter ended
ask your employer how much was paid on your behalf for a start
the superfund may not have updated its records
at this stage there is no need to pay your accountant fees to ask him the question
nor should you be asking for a tax ruling
it is an admin question directed to your employer at this stage and should be resolved by him
otherwise the revelant body who administer the SGC will step in on your behalf, if you contact them
all above is at no cost to you
