Thank you all, once again. I have spoken to my accountant and I will be using another one from now on. He said he was not familiar with the legislation. I have also spoken to another accountant (who will be my new one)and he is of the opinion that the money is due.
I have looked the matter up on the ATO web site and boy is it convoluted! Anyway I will le tall know how things turn out.
