the tax being paid is unknown at this stage and it cant be commented on. its because it will depend on how the US$450million is structured for them, which will have different tax implications.
i asked if it was a possibility of the group bidding for the company instead (since its cheaper) - he said it was quite possible.

meanwhile on CNBC i see VALE - a massive iron ore producer in south america - has just confirmed securing over a $5billion loan in order to make ACQUISITIONS SOUTH AMERICA over the next five years....................... i am betting that its more than likely to be VALE to be bidding for SRK's assets IMO.
