Papertiger...that would seem a logical assumption, given that the nameplate production was really just a number to begin with. Had they just put an approximate production target that could be achieved, rather than trying to be so precise with an operation that is basically brand new and had no real comparisons to work with other than operations in Chile and other saltas within Argentina. Just seems the more they try to reach this projected number the more disappointed people become because they are ALWAYS coming up short.
i.e. ORE production numbers should be between 10,000 and 15,000 tons per year in the first two years of production, with a possible maximum production run rate of 17,500 tons per year given trouble free and continuous operations.....just a thought...people really do appreciate a candid and truthful assessment.
