I have been wondering about the pile of ore as well. I visited the mine last January and I reckon the Maxwell ore pile to be about the length and width estimated by Plough. This pile was where the mill is now located. I think the ore was roughly separated depending on origin within Maxwells. The ore pile has been moved to make way for the mill. see photo.

I'd guess that the pile of ore is about the same size and if I look closely maybe there is some delineation of ore type within the pile. Perhaps there was a reason not to continue to bring ore to the surface until after the winder upgrade was complete. I'm just guessing, and like you awaiting news of the first milling campaign. I'm a pretty patient sort of bloke but the anticipation is starting to get to me. Very much looking forward to some initial mill results if they'll publish that information. Hopefully the grades will be as predicted by management and anything higher will be a bonus.
