it amazes me how experts out there are claiming that the JV is dead, unlikeley to happen, etc.
For all we know the JV deal may hinge on first obtaining government approval, signed conventions/agreements etc.
At this stage anything is possible , and more often then not the first bid is not the last bid.
One possible scenario - GJ comes back with govt agreement secured, handong ups bid to .60, board reluctantly supports, and someone else counterbids or agrees to jv.
in saying this board needs to announce some positive development fairly soon, or they will lose shareholder confidence.
