sp off again on a positive mkt day. I tend to side with the person that put the point of view recently (sorry, forgotten who) that inclusion into the ASX200 has brought the index funds in (of course). We might think this is a positive, but it turns out that the index funds make some of their money by reloaning their shares to shorters. Folks like Roger Montgomery boast what a healthy thing this shorting is because it opens companies to constant market scrutiny (looking for flaws) but we all know that they also exploit waiting periods, and uncertainty, to our chagrin. The sooner we produce a dividend, the better!
