The particular point was not clear enough for me even though the ASX Notice of 2nd advises that the EX date was when ORG went into suspension (30/9/2015). To clarify, I rang my broker (Commsec) who said to ring the Register (Boardroom) who would confirm but when I rang the Register, they said ring your broker !
At this point, I'm believing the ASX notice page 1, point 3 on events calendar which says :
Trading halt lifted
Trading in ordinary shares resumes on an ex-entitlement basis (ASX Code: ORG)
Rights trading of retail entitlements only commences on a deferred
settlement basis (ASX Code: ORGR)
Record date for Entitlement Offer
