We are talking about a company that is the leading energy retailer in AUS.
It has a dominant position in gas.
And the last time I looked, it was performing quite well in its energy retailing division.
I can understand APLNG is not the flavour of the month.
But even at the current POO, with the low $AUS, there will still be a contribution from APLNG.
The prudent thing to do is to use this money to reduce debt.
And with a strong position in energy retailing, and cost cutting measures, this should help the company continue to pay dividends.
Question. Is there any chance APLNG looks at selling its transmission pipelines to pay down debt ?
