Saw a good US Video on You tube. People are taking crashed Tesla writeoffs and removing the battery pack and turning them into meg powerwalls . Others are opening the car power pack and taking the bear slab sized sections out and selling them as cheap power walls.
If 6% (official figure I think) of cars leave the road each year, and we say 3% of Teslas (even day old ones) join the heap of scraped cars thats going to be a big supply of grey market power walls and a big downward push on powerwall prices . This is bad for power companies but Evs as far as I know with an average drive need more power than home power use.
Dont forget variable power pricing may be bad now for profits but companies always find a way of ripping you off over the long run.
We need more independent people doing work on this and not the Fugazie the shorting hedge fund stories not to mention the medias overblown stories and Green "the sky is falling " hysteria.
