If there was no possibility of the deal not going through, it would be trading at 9 bucks minus opportunity costs.
If there was no possibility of the deal going through , it might be at $6.
The level that it is trading at , says what the collective wisdom of all holders and potential holders think the chances are.
The figures would suggest around 50/50 which may or may not be right.

If it suddenly goes one way or the other , it will be off a change of news.
On why ask for an extension ?
You can take a good or bad view of that.
You can be a glass half full or a glass half empty type of guy.
Just describes emotional states , not the future or facts.

My emotional state had me flogging 40% at 8 bucks.
The rest will go at $8.50 if it hits that before the firb report comes down.
