Unfortunately Organic does not in anyway mean pesticide free. Often it actually means more volume of slightly less toxic pesticide, or pesticides almost as toxic anyway. It also means low crop yields and there is no excuse for advocating for this inefficient style of farming when the world is crying out for food and farmland.

I completely agree that there is nothing better then food fresh from the backyard and it would be great if everyone could get a taste of that everyday. But don't get conned.
