QuanQuest QQ, I also don't feel qualified to comment on timelines to build/maintain organoids, to infect and measure. It may be that assessing the infectivity % of an organoid is a little harder and requires repeat measurements.

What I have noticed is that the Doherty Institute, Melbourne Uni, WEHI - all have organoid expertise and this is an increasing worldwide trend. I think this July 2020 article ex Nature explains why:

Human organoids are the most direct biomedical proxy for human testing, lacking only the physiological reaction of a whole human body. All research institutions are moving this way. Still in vitro but it blurs the boundary just a little bit more.

I'm hoping WEHI's covid work will advance our cancer work as well, ie more precise detail on monepantel's mode of action and acts as an encouragement for us to test monepantel on cancerous human organoids. It may be that it's a very cost effective way to rank the next cancers to focus on.
