Yeah I'm with Aus Super too. They recently mentioned they are the best performing fund for their balanced option over 7, 10, 15 and 20 years (including over 20% return in their balanced option in the past year) and I am confident they can continue to perform well and grow my retirement nest egg.
That's why I've picked up a little more ORI today. I trust that their investment teams are doing all the right research and analysing risk/return to position themselves to perform very well over the long term, as they have shown to do.
I've noticed that they buy when companies are hated and are at prices just too low from a historical standpoint (which is what we ought to do but is harder said than done). I've made gains by following them into capital raising or on market purchase at very low prices on other shares I hold, which I would not otherwise have had the stomach to do.
