JINGEMIA-12 OIL DEVELOPMENT WELL DRILLING REPORT, JINGEMIA OIL
FIELD, L14, ONSHORE NORTH PERTH BASIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Victoria Petroleum NL has been advised by Origin Energy Limited, operator of the L14
Joint Venture and Jingemia-12 oil development well, that drilling of the Jingemia-12
development well commenced on !8 July 2009. At 0600 hours Western Standard Time
today, the current operation was testing the Blow Out Preventer installed on surface
conductor casing set at 536 metres prior to drilling ahead.
Jingemia-12 is being drilled as a directional well to intersect the oil-bearing Dongara
Sandstone in a crestal location in the Jingemia Oil Field.
The well has a planned measured total depth of 2,709 metres and is expected to take
approximately 25 days to drill, case and complete.
Drilling reports will be provided to the ASX on a weekly basis and as significant events
occur.
Victoria Petroleum N.L., through its wholly owned subsidiary Victoria Petroleum
Offshore Pty Ltd, holds a 5% interest in Jingemia-12 and Production Licence L14.
