Definately starting to warm up in the area. I'm probably more confident in the involvement of AWE in our leases than Origin.
Long story short, ARC Energy (AEL) demerged from Buru Energy and merged with AWE around mid 2008. ARC then aquired Adelphi (ADI) around a year and a half or so ago to get exposure to US shale gas and gain knowledge.
Peter M pointed me to RISC's independant report of AEL which had some nice info in it. It can be found here..
That knowledge now lies inside AWE and i'm sure it is being put to use here now. It may be a new thing to Australia, but some of the people involved here aren't new to the shale game. AWE also have 10% of the Sugarloaf AMI in the Eagleford to add to the base.
